THE HELMET

The idea of the helmet began in 1990 after watching a Michael Jackson performance video, where MJ wore a helmet to obscure his identity from the public. In 1993, HDLF would discover Daft Punk, a French electronic duo who also adopted a similar approach, using masks and then their iconic helmets to conceal their faces and maintain anonymity.
